Idea-Log

Goethe said, “Everything has been thought of before but the difficulty is to think of it again.”

So, here is space to share ideas and transform…

Clichéd as it sounds, charity begins at home.  When we took this journey into Service life, we were aware that there would be transfers, moves and shake-ups.

There is a tale in every transfer. Let us try to have ones with good beginnings and happy endings. As successors, please show a little patience and tolerance, especially in district postings. Barging into the predecessor’s residential space unannounced is a big “NO, No!” Making demands on their household staff right away is also distasteful.

As predecessors, (especially in assigned quarters), try not to overstay and show little courtesies.

Remember, all things being transient; human memory tends to linger on the more painful and unpleasant aspects longer.
